Great hotel, right in the park. I took an upgrade to room nb 3, and it also had a little amazing terrace. Staff gave me a free breakfast, as it was my birthday that morning, i found that to be really nice of them- also the breakfast was very good, an awesome variety.

In a park. Great room. Bar area smart and cosy. Hiring a bike from hotel at 19 euros a day made life easy.

The building was old church converted to the hotel and the park was just like a yard to the hotel. One the staff in reception was really helpful and did his best in every aspect.

Nice ambience, great location, friendly welcome, beautiful features and clever renovation to bring an imposing architecture into the 21st century. Comfy bed and sofa, good air conditioning. Great breakfast! Cleanliness was good but could go up a notch to achieve the full 4* experience.

Fantastic Hotel located in a nice part of town, very near tram stop Alexanderplein, Metro, shops, big park, cafes and resturants all short stroll away. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, well appointed and comfortable with nice bathrooms & big firm beds. Will only ever stay here whenever in Amsterdam.

Love spacious rooms on the ground floor with good green views. Loved the bath supplies which was a nice touch. They also gave me complimentary bitterballen at the bar as it was my first time visiting this city. Also having it within the park meant you have excellent walks and a good vibe every day while leaving and returning.

Too short a stay to offer a critique of any significance. However, the facilities were excellent and very near the tramlines for access to the city center. Fantastic park on your doorstep, too.

Hotel Arena hit all the right notes no make our stay one of a kind!. This unique property is within a family friendly park that is part of a well established residential neighborhood. Easy access to public transportation and close to downtown. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and super comfy. We upgraded to a more spacious room and were glad we did! Staff was super nice.

Great location , quiet in the park feel - lovely, bars restaurants just a short walk around the corner. Metro 7and half minutes (straight to train central) tram 5 minutes Rooms a little funky but very nice - view over park through double height window. Hotel vibe - relaxed , very good quality, friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast - high quality, large selection Like the conversion from old hospital to hotel

I loved my room and I love this hotel in general. It is my 4th or 5th time staying there The staff are friendly and it is very clean - I like the restaurant downstairs and it feels homey

Room was not the one hotel had promised for us, it was smaller, not clean: dust on the floor. Bathrobes were greyish, very weary as were the towels. Bottled water one 2 bottles for the whole stay. We have used this hotel for year, many times per year and know how it has been. Now it was really in an urgent need for renevation and upgrade. No more 4 star hotel.

Nice room, with good facilities and a comfortable bed. The staff were all helpful and the food was good with a particularly good range of breakfast options. The ability to store luggage in accessible, but secure, lockers ahead of our room being available on day 1, and also on our last day after we checked out, was very useful and enabled us to make the most of our stay in Amsterdam.
